Baby wraps are a way for parents to carry their infants and toddlers.
The cloth tightly hugs your child around you, like another additional layer of clothing. In comparison to carriers, the wrap was made to distribute your baby’s weight evenly over your shoulders, hips, and back.
It’s beneficial both for you and your little one. It gives infants the support they need without sacrificing the parent’s comfort.
Boba Wrap allows you to easily carry your child while you’re traveling or while you work at home, or whenever you simply need to run a few errands.
If you wish to know more about Boba Wrap, then we’ll be reviewing its benefits and how different it is compared to other brands.

What is Boba Wrap? Video Fular Boba Wrap
Boba Wrap was founded by husband and wife Elizabeth and Robert Antunovic. It started back in 2007 when their family was traveling across Europe. Since then, they’ve now grown to accommodate tens of thousands of customers throughout the world.
They are even certified as hip-healthy for babies by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. The wrap can help position the baby so that their spine and hips are well protected.
Their first product — the Boba Wrap, is a sort of stretchable fabric intended to carry the infant. This allows the babies to be as close as possible with their parents or caregivers. The baby will be able to snuggle closely to their parent’s chest, giving them the warmth and comfort they need.
A parent’s scent is one of the most reassuring things for a baby. Top it off with getting warmth and hearing your heartbeat, and you’ll have one happy baby.
It is ergonomic and breastfeeding-friendly. They are best used on newborns, but you can still use them if your child is already a toddler. Apart from Boba Wraps, they also offer Boba Carriers and even accessories.
If you never had experience how to tie baby wraps, their website also provides wrap tutorials and tips.
What is Boba Wrap made of?
Boba Wrap is made of a blend of cloth having 5% Spandex and 95% cotton. These two materials make it soft and pliable.
For reference, the Boba Wrap is 5.5 yards long. Even though it’s stretchable, it is not as elastic as other materials, which is just fine as it’s sufficient to carry your baby. The best thing about this is that even with repeated use, it will not snag. You’ll have the ability to use the wrap until your child reaches 35 lbs. Some parents found no problems when they it on their toddlers.
Additionally, it is breathable, but the blend of spandex can make it too hot to wear during the hottest days of summer. Otherwise, it’s perfect to be used outside in colder weather. It provides you and your kid enough warmth. If you are planning to use it during summer, just make sure your child is wearing light clothing.
Another note about the material is that it makes the wrap easy to clean. It also dries quickly, and it is easy to place it on your bag when you are not using it. It doesn’t occupy too much space like the other items in your baby bag.
Boba Wrap gives you 11 options. You can choose from 9 different colors and 2 prints.
Colors include light grey, bloom, vintage blue, sangria, navy blue, dark blue, and dark gray. If you’re not into plain colours, they have included a wrap with polka-dotted prints and another one with rainbow patterns.

How does it fare to other baby wraps?
Boba Wrap aims to provide comfort to the parent and the child without having to sacrifice durability and quality. However, Boba Wrap is not the sole baby wrap that offers these. It can be tough to choose, especially for those who have a baby to take care of.
In this section, we’ll take a look at how Boba Wrap performs against other competitors. For this review, we selected two of the most popular — Moby Wrap and Solly Baby.
Boba Wrap vs. Moby Wrap
The Moby Wrap is made of 100% cotton and is about 6.6 yards long. It can carry babies that weigh from 8 pounds to 35 pounds. It can also be machine washed.
The cotton makes the wrap more breathable and comfortable during warm days. It can stretch too, so you can use it until your baby becomes a toddler.
Moby Wrap also enables parents to configure the wrapping in four different ways. This makes it more accommodating as your child develops. You can use Moby Wrap to carry them facing inwards, at the front, or on the hips.
If you compare the material, Moby Wrap is more comfortable in terms of breathability. In terms of thickness, the Boba Wrap is thicker than the Moby Wrap. The latter is more suitable to be utilized during the hot summer months so that you and your baby will be comfortable.
However, the Moby Wrap doesn’t have much room for stretchability in comparison to Boba Wrap. With the Boba Wrap, it is possible to tie it a tight as possible because it will easily stretch once you put the baby inside the wrap. This is much easier to deal with compared to using Moby Wrap, where you must tie it just right since it will not stretch as much. Plus-sized parents will also find the Boba Wrap more accomodating. It’s also easier to use as your child grows.
Additionally, Boba Wrap’s weight range accommodates babies from 5 pounds up to 35 lbs. On the other hand, Moby Wrap ranges from 8 pounds to 35 pounds. The stretchability factor of Boba Wrap makes it easy to be used by infants that are beyond 35 lbs.
Both products are good and both have very good strong points. But if you’re looking for something more versatile, we’d recommend Boba Wrap.

Boba Wrap vs. Solly Baby
Solly Baby is another wrap carrier that has become popular over recent years. They are also recognized by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute for being hip-healthy. The length is at 5.5 yards, just like Boba Wrap.
The material is made of 100% Lenzing Modal. For those people who aren’t familiar with the fabric, it is made from Austrian Beechwood tree pulp. This Austrian fabric is then weaved and processed in L.A.
Compared to cotton, Lenzing Modal is much more breathable. It can circulate air better than most fabrics since it’s lighter. Additionally, it is moisture-wicking, so it can keep you cool during summer while keeping you comfortable during winters. Video Fular Boba Wrap
However, compared to Boba Wrap, Solly Baby has a steeper learning curve. Tying can be harder even if there are tutorials available on the internet.
Moreover, the fabric can be too thin for some parents. Finding the perfect tightness when tying the wrap can be challenging too since it doesn’t stretch as well as Boba Wrap’s.
Although Solly Baby’s fabric is sturdy, the thicker feel of Boba Wrap might be more reassuring for some parents. It is also more durable from wear-and-tear.
Since Solly Baby can only accommodate up to 25 pounds, you may not be able to use it if your baby turns 9 weeks old. On the other hand, Boba Wrap can accommodate up to 35 pounds, making it usable until your child becomes a year old.
