What is Boba Wrap? Cheap Boba Wrap

Boba Wrap was founded by husband and wife Elizabeth and Robert Antunovic. It started back in 2007 when their family was traveling across Europe. Now, it’s grown to accommodate thousands of customers across the globe.

They are even certified as hip-healthy for infants by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. The wrap can help position the baby so that their spine and hips are well protected.

Their first product — the Boba Wrap, is a sort of stretchable fabric intended to carry the infant. This allows the babies to be as close as possible with their parents or caregivers. The babies will get the warmth and comfort they need as they embrace closely to their parent’s chest.

A parent’s scent is one of the most comforting things for a baby. Top it off with getting warmth and hearing your heartbeat, and you will have one happy baby.

It is ergonomic and breastfeeding-friendly. They’re best used on newborns, but you can still use them if your child is already a toddler. Aside from Boba Wraps, they also offer Boba Carriers and even accessories.

If you never had experience how to tie baby wraps, their website also offers wrap tutorials and tips.

What is Boba Wrap made of?

Boba Wrap is made of a blend of fabric having 5% Spandex and 95% cotton. These two materials make it stretchable and soft.

For reference, the Boba Wrap is about 5.5 yards long. Even though it is stretchable, it’s not as elastic as other substances, which is just fine since it’s sufficient to carry your baby. The best thing about this is that even with repeated use, it will not snag. You will have the ability to use the wrapping until your child reaches 35 pounds. Some parents found no issues when they tried it on their toddlers.

Additionally, it is breathable, but the mix of spandex can make it too warm to wear during the hottest days of summer. Otherwise, it is perfect to be used outside in colder weather. It provides you and your kid enough warmth. Just make sure that your child is wearing light clothing if you’re planning to use it during summer.

Another note about the material is that it makes the wrap easy to clean. It also dries quickly, and it is easy to put it on your bag when you’re not using it. It doesn’t take up too much space like the other items in your baby bag.

Boba Wrap gives you 11 options. You can choose from 9 different colors and 2 prints.

Colors include light grey, bloom, vintage blue, sangria, navy blue, dark blue, and dark grey. If you’re not into plain colours, they have included a wrap with polka-dotted prints and another one with rainbow patterns.

How does it fare to other baby wraps?

Boba Wrap aims to provide comfort to the parent and the child without needing to sacrifice durability and quality. However, Boba Wrap is not the only baby wrap that offers these. It can be tough to choose, especially for those who have a baby to look after.

In this section, we’ll take a look at how Boba Wrap performs against other competitors. For this review, we selected two of the most popular — Moby Wrap and Solly Baby.

Boba Wrap vs. Moby Wrap

The Moby Wrap is made of 100% cotton and is about 6.6 yards long. It can carry babies that weigh from 8 pounds to 35 pounds. It can also be machine washed.

The cotton makes the wrapping more breathable and comfortable during warm days. Because it’s also stretchable, you can use it until your infant becomes a toddler.

Moby Wrap also enables parents to configure the wrap in four different ways. This makes it more accommodating as your child grows. You can use Moby Wrap to carry them facing inwards, at the front, or on the hips.

If you compare the material, Moby Wrap is more comfortable when it comes to breathability. In terms of thickness, the Boba Wrap is thicker compared to the Moby Wrap. The latter is more suitable to be utilized during the hot summer months so that you and your infant will be comfortable.

However, the Moby Wrap does not have a lot of room for stretchability in comparison to Boba Wrap. With the Boba Wrap, it is possible to tie it a tight as possible because it is going to easily stretch once you put the baby inside the wrap. This is much easier to deal with compared to using Moby Wrap, where you have to tie it just right because it will not stretch as much. Plus-sized parents also find the Boba Wrap more accomodating. It’s also easier to use as your child develops.

Furthermore, Boba Wrap’s weight range accommodates babies from 5 pounds up to 35 pounds. On the other hand, Moby Wrap ranges from 8 pounds to 35 pounds. The stretchability factor of Boba Wrap makes it possible to be used by babies which are beyond 35 lbs.

Both products are good and both have very good strong points. But if you’re looking for something more versatile, we’d recommend Boba Wrap.

Boba Wrap vs. Solly Baby

Solly Baby is another wrap carrier which has become popular over recent years. They’re also recognized by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute for being hip-healthy. The length is at 5.5 yards, just like Boba Wrap.

The material is made of 100% Lenzing Modal. For those people who aren’t familiar with the fabric, it is made from Austrian Beechwood tree pulp. This Austrian fabric is then weaved and processed in L.A.

Lenzing Modal is much more breathable compared to cotton. It can circulate air better than other fabrics since it’s lighter. Additionally, it is moisture-wicking, so it can keep you cool during summer while keeping you comfortable during winters. Cheap Boba Wrap

However, in comparison to Boba Wrap, Solly Baby has a steeper learning curve. Even if there are tutorials available online, tying it up can be harder than Boba Wrap.

Additionally, the fabric can be too thin for some parents. Finding the perfect tightness when tying the wrap can be challenging too since it doesn’t stretch as well as Boba Wrap’s.

Though Solly Baby’s fabric is sturdy, the thicker feel of Boba Wrap might be more reassuring for some parents. It is also more durable from wear-and-tear.

Since Solly Baby can only accommodate up to 25 pounds, you might not have the ability to use it when your baby turns 9 months old. On the other hand, Boba Wrap can accommodate up to 35 pounds, which makes it usable until your child becomes a year old.

Pros & Cons

To help you decide whether Boba Wrap is recommended for you, we’ve summarised the pros and cons.

  • Usable even by 1-year-old infants

Bottom Line

Whether you are a first-time parent or not, the Boba Wrap is an excellent investment. You can use it on your newborn baby until they become toddlers.

The material is durable and elastic. Because it’s 5% spandex, it can make you feel warm. Remember to wear light clothing on hot days. It is machine washable and dries quickly. You may use it in various ways. Additionally, it’s easy to store them.

Although it’s not perfect, the advantages of using Boba Wrap outweigh its flaws. It’s durable compared to other infant wraps. It’s comfortable not just for your baby but for you also. Bid farewell to backaches! Cheap Boba Wrap
