It seems like it was only a couple days ago that I wrote about making these little houses for my nieces, and here we are at the end of the month!
I'm so happy to have finally finished these. I purchased the panels about a year ago to make as Christmas gifts, and then somehow lost the fabric. Luckily I found it during spring cleaning of my sewing room.
These were a real challenge to put together, as you may be able to tell from the outcome - some of the sides are a little wonky and the seams don't exactly line up. There were some many layers of interfacing - medium weight, fusible fleece, and Peltex - that it was a real challenge to wrangle these through my machine. Thank goodness for Wonder Clips!
I'm not too concerned with the outcome - between the 2 year old, for year old, and two golden retrievers, I bet these will be "well loved" regardless.
Now all I need to do is make a few more little friends (finger puppets) to play in the houses before I'm off to visit my family next week!
